Italianavera is also an entrepreneurial, female-owned company based in the San Marzano DOP area. Inspired by her childhood in the region, owner Diana Attianese set out to bring the tomato sauces of her youth to tables around the world — honoring tradition with gorgeous packaging and pure, authentic flavor.


La Fabbrica della Pasta – Risoni

Risoni (also known as orzo) is a small, rice-shaped pasta traditionally used in broths and soups — but it’s equally perfect in pasta salads or tossed into creamy sauces (hello, pistachio Alfredo).

La Fabbrica della Pasta has been making pasta for three generations in Gragnano, a town near Naples famous for pasta-making for over 500 years. Their pasta is made with local spring water and high-protein durum wheat, then bronze-die extruded for a porous texture that grabs onto sauce, and slow-dried at low temperatures to preserve quality and bite.

They’re also among only a small number of remaining pasta makers in the region — and were the first pasta factory to earn IGP (Protected Geographical Origin) certification for its pasta, plus the first in Gragnano to create a bronze-extruded artisanal gluten-free pasta.
