Hot Honey Whipped Feta Dip

Hot Honey Whipped Feta Dip

Admit it, just the title of this one had you salivating. Salty and tangy feta cheese blended with Greek yogurt, EVOO, honey, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice come together in a dip you won't want to stop eating. Inspired by the flavors in our Taste the Mediterranean box, it’s a fresh and flavorful way to bring a little Mediterranean magic to your table.

Great for a Mediterranean crudités board, or spread onto a homemade gyro, this is minimal effort for maximum flavor—no chopping or cooking required.

What you'll need:

  • 8 oz block Feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup full-fat plain greek yogurt (full fat makes for a more creamy consistency, but sub in what you have!)
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tbsp Saratoga Olive Oil Company Portuguese Cobrançosa Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Big pinch red pepper flakes, plus extra for serving
  • Hot Honey, for serving (we love Nate's Nectar Stingin' Hot Honey!)
  • Fresh or dried parsley, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor, high-power blender, or a large bowl with an immersion blender.
  2. Blend for about 1 minute until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Transfer to a serving dish.
  4. Drizzle with extra olive oil, a touch of hot honey, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and parsley.
  5. Serve with warm pita, pita chips, or fresh veggies.

Foodie Box Love Notes & Tips:

  • Build a bagel sandwich: Smear a thin layer on a toasted bagel. Top with a fried egg, breakfast meat of choice, and extra hot honey.
  • Feta dressing: Add cold water 1 tbsp at a time until it reaches a pourable consistency—perfect over Greek salad.
  • Save in an airtight container for 4-5 days, stirring before serving if liquids separate.
