Blueberry Brie sliders on board outside

Blueberry BBQ Brie Sliders

If you’re looking for a “wait, what is in this?” kind of reaction at your next cookout — these are the sliders. Juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of unexpected, they bring a gourmet twist to backyard grilling without any fuss. The star of the show is Elijah’s Xtreme Bourbon-Infused Blueberry Chipotle sauce — a bold blend that’s sweet, smoky, and layered with vinegary tang. One taste, and you’ll understand why this one’s a favorite.

But it doesn’t stop at the sauce. Creamy brie melts beautifully over each patty, adding richness and depth, while a handful of fresh arugula brings that sharp, peppery bite that balances it all out. It’s a flavor combo that feels elevated but totally approachable. These sliders are easy to prep, impressive on the plate, and even better when shared. Just be ready — your guests will be asking for the recipe before the last one disappears.

Yields: 12 servings as an appetizer. Prep time: 10 minutes. Cook time: 8 minutes.

What you’ll need:

For the burger patty:

  • 2 lbs ground beef (We like an 80% lean for a good balance of moisture and flavor)
  • ¼ cup white onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

For serving:

  • ½ lb brie, cut into 12 slices
  • Elijah’s Xtreme Bourbon-Infused Blueberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
  • 1½-2 cups fresh arugula
  • 12 slider buns

Instructions:

  1. Fire up the grill to medium high heat (about 375°F).
  2. Form your patties. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Divide mixture into 12 portions and shape them into small patties.
  3. Grill your patties for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until they’re juicy and just slightly pink in the center. (About 160°F if you’re using a meat thermometer.)
  4. Prep the buns. Place the slider buns cut side down on the grill to toast for a minute to add a little crunch. Assemble them on a serving tray.
  5. Melt the brie. In the final minute of grilling, top each of your patties with a pad of brie cheese and allow it to melt.
  6. Stack it up: toasted bun, fresh arugula, melty brie-topped patty, and a generous drizzle of that bold blueberry chipotle sauce.

Foodie Box Love – Notes & Tips

  • Caprese-style twist: The tangy sweetness of this sauce brings major balsamic vibes. Turn your slider into a caprese-inspired bite by adding a slice of juicy tomato and a few torn basil leaves for a fresh, herby finish.
  • Boost the blueberry factor: Want to lean into the sweet and smoky? Simmer a cup of blueberries over medium-low heat, mash gently, and stir in Elijah’s Xtreme Bourbon Blueberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce. Add a splash of bourbon if you’re feeling bold, and cook until it thickens into a rich, jammy compote.
  • Let 'em pour it on: Keep the bottle at the table and let your guests get saucy. The creamy brie and peppery arugula can handle a heavy hand — this slider was made to be drenched in flavor.

Serve them hot for maximum juiciness -- and don’t forget the napkins, things are going to get saucy!
