The Art of the Charcuterie Board
Share
Creating an appetizer that hits every flavor note—sweet to salty, creamy to crunchy, mild to spicy—is a true craft. The charcuterie board is the perfect canvas to make sure every craving is covered. It’s always exciting to discover something new on a board, like the following and realizing the piece you never knew your board was missing:
- Yuzu & Grape Honey from Kankitsu Labo,
- A smear of Cinnamon Creamed Honey from Nate’s Nectar, or
- Dutch Apple Pie Pretzel from Pop Daddy Snacks
Our Sweet and Salty Lover’s Box turns board-building into an edible work of art. Whether you’re creating a grazing table for a crowd or leaning into girl dinner with a glass of wine like Kim (@alaskagirl_eats), this box is sure to spark creativity and elevate your taste experience.
With fall in full swing, it feels like the perfect time to cozy up indoors, gather with friends, and share something delicious. I’m getting into the spooky spirit with a Murder Mystery party this weekend, and of course, a charcuterie board is my go-to way to make sure everyone has something to munch on—no reheating required.
I’ll be following the “3-3-3 rule” that Kim shared with us: 3 meats, 3 cheeses, 3 starches, and 3 accompaniments. I’m especially excited to include a couple of unique flavors from Evie’s Texas Pecans—Brown Butter Rum and Cinnamon Churro. A wedge of blueberry cheese and a handful of red grapes will add just the right touch of sweetness to balance the salty cured meats and crackers.

With spooky season parties filling the calendar, now’s the time to experiment with flavors and presentation. The Sweet and Salty Lover’s Box makes it easy to serve up something festive, flavorful, and fun—no cauldron required. Just a board full of creative bites and the kind of cozy chaos only a good party (and great snacks) can bring.
