Did you Know:

Coffee beans are actually the seeds from the coffee plant’s berry-like fruits.
The coffee plant is a shrub that grows in tropical climates in parts of Africa, Asia, South America and North America. It produces an edible berry-like fruit known as a coffee cherry, which typically contains two coffee beans. These beans are then processed and roasted to create the coffee we know and love.

Methodical Coffee & Tea
Coffee is the heartbeat of Methodical Coffee & Tea. They source from farms across the globe, many of which we’ve worked with for years, forming lasting friendships along the way. Methodical prioritizes producers who show a deep commitment to the health of their land and the well-being of their communities.
The roasting approach is guided by one goal: to bring out each coffee’s natural sweetness and character. Rather than sticking to conventional labels like light or dark, we roast to express the life the coffee lived—the weather, the soil, and the place it grew.

Methodical believes in coffee as a shared experience, a small act of beauty that connects us to nature, to one another, and to our communities. Whether you’re just starting your journey or chasing the ever-elusive perfect cup, we’re here to make that experience feel welcoming, inspiring, and shared.
Nerds, not snobs
Methodical set out in 2014 to open a coffee shop in Greenville, SC that approached its craft, hospitality, and atmosphere with care and intention. What began as a simple mission has grown into a way of life—shaping how they see the business, and the role coffee plays in it.

Red Rooster Coffee Roaster

Established in 2010 in downtown Floyd, VA (pop 432), Red Rooster was created with the simple notion of roasting excellent coffee for the owner’s existing coffee house. Soon, word of Red Rooster's quality spread around Virginia and up and down the East Coast.
Today, they employ nearly 50 people while roasting some of the best coffee in the world.
While Red Rooster has won numerous awards and accolades for their coffee quality, their true passion is in making a positive social impact both at home and abroad at the coffee's origin.
Organic Funky Chicken
When Red Rooster first began roasting coffee they wanted to create a blend that would appeal to all audiences. With a lot of practice and a little luck, they created a winner. This signature blend features three coffees from three origins, roasted to three different profiles to create one of the most complex yet approachable medium to dark roast blends you can find. Look for notes of pecan praline, lemon-lime, and milk chocolate truffle.
