Peace Coffee
Exclusively organic & fair trade since 1996
Peace Coffee believes that coffee is more than just a commodity. They believe it is essential to weekends and workdays, brunches and bundt cakes, and everything in between. Peace Coffee also believes it’s essential to farmer partners who attentively tend coffee trees from seed to harvest in hopes of making a good life for their family.

From Minneapolis, they have been firmly rooted in the business of responsible and sustainable partnerships with each link in the journey that these beautiful coffees take. Peace Coffee purchases only organic, fair trade coffees from small-scale grower cooperatives that invest in their farmers to combat unstable markets and shifting climates. It’s not the only way to buy coffee, but they think it’s the optimal way for long-term success on both sides.
Please Coffee is on a mission.
They are starry-eyed dreamers who believe in bicycle-power, being nice, and bringing neighbors, farmers, and the community together. They believe that collaboration works wonders, and that passion and honesty, and a really great cup of coffee can make the world a better place. And when that coffee is sustainably grown and freshly roasted to bring out the best in every bean, well, that’s when the real magic happens.
Moka Origins Coffee
Creating Stable Income for Farmers Around the World.

Moka Origins is working to make cacao and coffee a sustainable source of income for farmers around the world. Founders, Jeff Abella, and Ishan Tigunait, met while working on expanding the humanitarian efforts of the Himalayan Institute in Africa. From their first visit to Cameroon in 2006, they fell in love with the country and its people, and have been proud to call it home for a decade. A generous grant of land helped them invest in creating the ultimate farm-to-bean-to-bar experience. This was the genesis of a commitment to cultivate and hand-source the finest cacao and coffee in the world.
Building Moka Farm
Nestled deep in the Northwest Region of Cameroon, West Africa, the cacao, plantain, and food crop farm is a paradise on earth. This particular region is cut off from running water, electricity and paved roads, making it essential that Moka Origins invest in these utilities before anything else.

Jeff and Ishan had to build everything from the ground up—literally! They began by creating infrastructure essential for sustainable farm operations: a staff camp, solar electric system, tree nursery, well, river irrigation system, and an internal road network.
Moka Farm Team
Beginning with a small but dedicated crew, our core team quickly expanded. Farmers, agriculturalists, and just about everyone from the nearby community expressed interest in joining Moka.

The Moka team is a tight-knit global family, working to transform lives by promoting innovative farming techniques while giving our farmers opportunities for a sustainable livelihood. In other words, our vision is for coffee and chocolate to empower communities around the world not just to survive but to thrive.
